Melt the margarine in a medium sized pot and gently sauté the sliced mushrooms for about 5 minutes or until starting to become tender
Add the rice and stir well then add the water and KNORR Vegetable Stock Pot
Bring to the boil then reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 30 minutes
Add the peas and simmer for a further 5 minutes or until the water has been absorbed
Serve with a roast chicken or any meat of fish dish
Tip – for an all-in-one dish simply fry some chicken fillet strips with the mushrooms until well browned then follow the recipe as per method!
